New
Mexico Pronghorn Antelope Hunting
Folsom Outfitters offers archery and rifle hunting for pronghorn antelope bucks. Northeastern New Mexico is well known for its exceptional
antelope hunting and high success rates on record class speed goats. Thousands of acres of private ranch land are
available for many opportunities to harvest a great pronghorn antelope buck.
The archery antelope
hunt is a draw hunt and the hunter must apply for a tag ($206.00) with
New Mexico Game & Fish Dept. Please inquire with us for the details for drawing the archery
antelope permit. The price of this semi-guided hunt is $2,000.00,
which
includes meals, lodging, tax, field preparation of meat, skinning
and caping.
The rifle antelope hunt is usually the last week of August. We have been 100% successful for the past six years on our rifle
antelope hunts.
The
rifle antelope hunt is conducted from 4x4 vehicles and is mainly a
spotting and stalking ordeal. You
will have several good bucks to choose from. Most of our hunters
take a good buck on the first day. The price of the hunt is $2,800.00
for a 2 on 1 hunt and $3,250.00 for a 1 on 1 hunt, which includes
meals, lodging, full guide service, license, tax, field preparation
of meat, skinning
and caping. This hunt is the only hunt we host which requires
us to hire additional guides. With only a three day season in
which to harvest all of our rifle antelope, we regret that
non-hunting companions are not allowed during rifle antelope hunts
due to the limited bunk house space. A 50% deposit is required in
order to book this hunt.
