New
Mexico Black Bear Hunting
 The bear population is large and there are all color phases
from black, cinnamon, blonde and any combination of all colors
listed previously. Stand hunting and spotting and stalking are
the main methods of hunting.
Folsom Outfitters
offers a rifle bear hunt and an archery bear hunt. The dates and
prices are listed below. Prices of the hunt does not include
license which is $260.00 and may be purchased over the counter (no
draw necessary).
The black bear hunt is a five day hunt and the price includes meals, lodging, full guide service, field preparation of the meat, skinning and caping. Bear hunting requires lots of patience and the ability to sit quietly for long periods of time, however one's chances are good for taking a big New Mexico black bear.
